Walk in during opening hours — no appointment is needed. Arriving at least 30 minutes before we close gives us time to see you properly.

The clinic is on the first floor of Tin Tsz Shopping Centre, inside Tin Tsz Estate — a short walk from the surrounding Light Rail stops and served by local bus and minibus routes.

Hong Kong Identity Card
Needed to register you, and required for any Government subsidy scheme.
Your medicines
Bring the boxes or a written list — including anything you buy over the counter or take from another doctor.
Previous results
Recent blood tests, hospital discharge letters, referral letters or vaccination records, if you have them.
Fees
Paying for your visit
Consultation fees are confirmed at reception before you are seen, and the cost of any test, injection or procedure is quoted to you in advance. There are no charges you have not agreed to first.
Where you qualify for a Government scheme — Elderly Health Care Vouchers, CDCC, the Colorectal Cancer Screening Programme or the Vaccination Subsidy Scheme — the subsidy is applied here at the clinic, so you only pay the balance. See the schemes we take part in.
A receipt and, where clinically appropriate, a medical certificate can be issued for insurance or employment purposes. If you hold a direct-billing insurance card, please call before your visit to check whether it can be used.
Common questions
Questions patients ask
Do I need to make an appointment?
No. Tin Tsz Medical Centre works on a walk-in basis during opening hours. Waiting times are usually shortest early in the morning session and early in the evening session.
Which languages are spoken?
Consultations are held in Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
How quickly will I get my test results?
Because blood is taken and processed on site, many results come back quickly — often the same day or the next. We will tell you when to expect yours and how you will receive them.
Can I use my Elderly Health Care Voucher here?
Yes. We are an enrolled provider under the Elderly Health Care Voucher Scheme. Bring your Hong Kong Identity Card and tell reception when you arrive. More on the schemes.
Can I get a repeat prescription without being seen?
For long-term medicines a review is normally needed before a repeat is issued, so that we can check the treatment is still right for you. Call the clinic on 2267 7899 and we will advise.
Can you issue a sick leave certificate?
Yes, where it is clinically appropriate following a consultation.
Do you see children?
Yes. This is a family practice and Dr Li sees patients of all ages, including children.
If it is an emergency
This is a general practice, not an emergency department. If someone has chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding, a suspected stroke, or is unconscious, call 999 immediately or go straight to the nearest Accident & Emergency department — the closest to Tin Shui Wai are Tin Shui Wai Hospital and Pok Oi Hospital in Yuen Long.
